Publication Ethics

Guiding Principles for Authentic Publication in Kings and Queens Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (KQJMR): KQJMR is a bi-annual, open-access, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to the publication of original and unpublished research in various disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, Mathematics, and other fields of knowledge. The journal is renowned for publishing unique and authentic research that adheres to copyright guidelines, ensuring the protection of authors' rights.

Research papers submitted to KQJMR are written by scholars after an in-depth study and are committed to upholding the integrity of the work. Our dedicated team of scientists and academicians ensures that research is of the highest quality, avoiding plagiarism and other unethical practices. KQJMR follows a rigorous review process, involving a double-blind peer review system to evaluate all submitted articles and maintain publication standards.

Responsibilities of Authors:

Expected Quality:

  • Authors are advised to refrain from using the "copy and paste" method when writing articles.
  • Articles should be durable, showcasing the ability to attract intellectuals for further studies.
  • Articles must present novel thoughts and content, contributing to the academic community.
  • Credibility and reliability are key to maintaining the best publication ethics.
  • Formatting standards must be adhered to, ensuring the research is informative and professionally presented.
  • Proper citations and references for articles, authors, and publications are expected.
  • KQJMR provides a platform for the timely publication of high-quality research articles.
  • KQJMR follows a transparent and rigorous peer-review process; authors are required to participate fully in this process.

Novelty and Plagiarism:

  • Authors are expected to submit entirely original work and must cite any content or words from other articles used in their research.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work adheres to ethical standards and does not breach intellectual property rights.
  • Research submitted for publication must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
  • Authors must accept feedback from reviewers and make necessary corrections to their work.
  • If errors are identified after publication, authors must inform the editor and take corrective actions.

Exposure Benchmarks:

  • Research articles should meet the standards of originality, accuracy, and relevance, shedding light on important research areas.
  • The discussion should align with the title and emphasize the significance of the research.
  • Articles must include detailed citations and references for all content used from other sources.
  • Unethical practices, such as falsifying data or misrepresenting research, are strictly prohibited.

Data Access and Retention:

  • Authors should submit original research articles for peer review and agree to global access of their work.
  • Authors should retain data for a reasonable period after publication for verification purposes.

Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication:

  • Authors are advised against publishing the same content across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Simultaneous submissions of the same paper to different journals are unprofessional and not acceptable.
  • A paper already published in any journal should not be submitted for publication elsewhere, as this violates the principle of novelty.

Acknowledgement of Sources:

  • Authors must cite all sources accessed and used during the study.
  • If the research work relies on the influence of other research, proper citations should be made.
  • Data from confidential sources or third-party discussions should be used only with written permission from the original source.

Authority of Paper:

  • The names of authors and co-authors should be clearly mentioned in the manuscript.
  • Contributors, agencies, and institutions supporting the research should be acknowledged.
  • Authorship should be restricted to those who have significantly contributed to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research.
  • The corresponding author must confirm that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission for publication.

Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects:

  • If the work involves unusual hazards, these must be identified clearly in the manuscript.
  • If human or animal subjects were involved, authors must ensure compliance with relevant laws and institutional guidelines and include the necessary approvals.
  • Informed consent must be obtained for research involving human subjects, and privacy rights should be observed.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest:

  • All authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their research.
  • Sources of financial support for the research should be disclosed clearly.
  • Examples of conflicts of interest include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, grants, or other financial interests related to the research.

Duties of Editors:

Publication Decisions:

  • The editor is responsible for deciding which articles to publish, guided by the relevance and importance of the work to the research community.
  • Decisions must be based on the intellectual content and the significance of the article, without bias toward the author's race, gender, or affiliations.

Confidentiality: Editors and staff must maintain confidentiality about submitted manuscripts and must not disclose information except to authorized individuals.

Fair Play: Editors should evaluate manuscripts solely on their intellectual content and not on the author's background.

Conflict of Interest: Editors should ensure that their own research is not influenced by any conflict of interest and should recuse themselves from reviewing manuscripts with such conflicts.
